Form the study and analysis of monthly and annual rainfall in the year 1993, 1994, the
average monthly rainfall over on the drainage area of Ubol Ratana dam in 20 year Period
(1975-1994) of 40 stations , wet period and dry period, the monthly and annual inflow in
the year 1993, 1994 and average inflow in 28 year period (1966-1993) of Ubol Ratana dam,
it can be concluded that the drainage area of Ubol Ratana dam is generally dry and in the
year 1993 it appeared to be dried than usual. Although the analysis of rainfall of only 5
months in 1994 which is considered insufficient, to make a conclusion to be wet or dry
year , it tends to be wetter than in 1993. According to the study of the relationship
between rainfall amount and the rain water inflow to the dam, the amount of inflow is
account for 17-18 % of total rainfall in this drainage area.
